About WABI

The 16th International Workshop on Approximation and Online Algorithms (WABI 2024) will be held in Aarhus, Denmark, from August 22-24, 2024. The workshop will bring together researchers from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in the design and analysis of approximation and online algorithms.

The workshop will feature invited talks from leading experts in the field, as well as contributed talks from researchers presenting their latest work. The workshop will also include a poster session, where attendees can present their work in a more informal setting.

Topics

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics in approximation and online algorithms, including:

• Approximation algorithms for NP-hard problems
• Online algorithms for dynamic problems
• Streaming algorithms for massive data
• Property testing algorithms
• Algorithmic game theory
• Applications of approximation and online algorithms in various domains

Important Dates

• Paper submission deadline: March 15, 2024
• Notification of acceptance: May 15, 2024
• Camera-ready deadline: June 15, 2024
• Workshop dates: August 22-24, 2024

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Papers should be submitted electronically via the EasyChair submission system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wabi2024

Papers should be formatted according to the Springer LNCS guidelines. The page limit for regular papers is 12 pages, and the page limit for short papers is 6 pages.

Venue

The workshop will be held at the Aarhus University campus in Aarhus, Denmark. The campus is located in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of restaurants and shops.

The workshop venue is the Aarhus University Main Building, which is a beautiful and historic building that has been the center of academic life in Aarhus for over a century.

Online registration for WABI 2024 will open in March 2024. The registration fee will include access to all sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, and the workshop dinner.
